The course is designed to give employees a solid grounding in the essentials of health and safety. Everyone should have an understanding of why they must ‘work safely’ and this course offers exactly that.

We’re delighted to announce that our Working safely course has been recognised as an equivalent to a Level 1 Award in health and safety in a construction environment.
This means that delegates who successfully complete Working safely can apply for a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) green Labourer card once they have also passed the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Operative test.

The course takes 1 day to complete.

Who is the course for?
Working safely is for employees at any level and any sector.
Successful delegates are awarded an IOSH Working Safely certificate or a credit card sized ‘passport’ card. We recommend that this course is refreshed every 3 years.

IOSH Managing Safely is designed to give the candidate the right tools to carry out workplace safety assessments and ultimately know their responsibilities for managing safety at work. It is delivered over 4 days with a classroom based assessment and a workplace project which assists the candidates in identifying and controlling workplace hazards.

IOSH Working Safely is aimed at any employee, in any industry, to make them aware of the legal responsibility and how to help prevent accidents in the workplace. The course gives the employer confidence in their staff that they have the correct tools to help them carry out tasks in a safe manner. The course is delivered over 1 day with a short written assessment at the end of the session.
